Eco Design and Management:

- Specializes in an ecological approach to landscape and restoration emphasizing
grading and soil preparation, use of healthy locally grown trees, shrubs, and perennials.

Harriet Wentz and Rob Grayston
have worked as a team designing and installing innovative landscapes since 2004.
Shane Morgan joined our landscape team in 2005.
|
Harriet Wentz, owner of Eco Design and Management,
has worked in landscape design and restoration specializing in native plants for over 25 years.
She received her BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University, BS in horticulture and landscape design
from the University of Delaware, and a Masters in Education and Environmental Science from Arcadia University.
Her many years observing natural systems, and teaching environmental science have
shaped her ecological approach to landscape design. Her years studying fine arts and
practicing ceramic art go hand-in-hand with creative landscape design.
Harriet has developed a variety of restoration projects including an award winning
dune restoration in Rehoboth Beach, woodland, meadow,
and stream restoration projects for the Myrick Conservation Center,
a collaborative restoration project at Riverbend Environmental Education Center,
an innovative stormwater restoration at Hockessin Greene, and a community park
and stream restoration in Downingtown. Harriet has completed a wide range of residential projects,
both large and small.

Robert Grayston, owner of Grayston Landscape Associates,
has over 15 years experience in the landscape business.
He graduated from Williamson Technological College with a degree in horticulture,
completing internships at Longwood Gardens and the Wilmington Country Club.
With experience in all segments of landscape installation from hardscape, pond,
and lighting to renovation and restoration, Rob has installed a variety of
commercial and residential landscapes in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
He is a knowledgeable horticulturalist, a certified and skilled arborist and a professional
grounds manager. Rob and his crew have managed the Philadelphia Flower Show floor since 1996.

Shane Morgan is a landscape designer and project manager
specializing in sustainable gardening. She has earned a BS in Environmental Science, an MS in Ecology,
and Ornamental Horticulture Certificates from Longwood Gardens. Her passion for growing and eating good food,
and her design acumen enable her to create gardens that are not only beautiful, but also edible.
